Parker School Students Presenting "Rebel Without a Cause"
Photo SlideshowAnthony Mangione's no rebel, he just plays one on TV. No, make that the stage of the Parker School Theatre from Oct. 25 to Oct. 27.
The 10th-grader is Jim Stark in "Rebel Without a Cause," the infamous character portrayed by James Dean in the 1955 film on which the play is based. Twelfth-grader Kalehua Shamel, plays Judy, the female lead, following in the footsteps of Natalie Wood. Another 10th-grader, Tadashi Kamitaki, snagged the role of John "Plato" Crawford.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students. They may be purchased from Parker School students or one hour before show time at Parker School Theatre. The Thursday through Saturday performances begin at 7 p.m.
